[. .] How do you make happy music...?

I really enjoyed this, considering the countless dark songs I've listened to, this is a good break from all that.

That twangy lead (distorted?), I like it.
That crash echo is really unique, usually I expect like a single crash, but then it starts echoing. Pretty small but nice effect there.

Well done on the song =w=

JosepWh responds:

Thanks for your review! I think it's a happy song because of the bass line:)
Mostly get's happy when using this.

I also thought the crash was a fun idea! Just a normal crash with a Delay!

Cheers buddy!

Me like teh wobble

That wobble is like taking a zinc sheet and shaking it like a madman. xD
It has a metallic sound to it (reason for zinc reference)
You could add some more hihat breaks and such. getting addictive drums is a nice source of hihats.

.x. Also NO DUBSTEP IS COMPLETE WITHOUT.... dun dun dun SUBBASS!!!
;___; I is currently missing.

ANyway pretty good techno-dubstep =wd

death-is-forever responds:

HAHAHA! Seriously, I laughed so hard at the zinc thing. I could just picture a guy going nuts on a piece of sheet metal. lol

I don't quite get what your say with the hi-hats though.
Thanks for the good review though! :D

Well done

Easy listening, not sure where the drum and bass comes in D: So you may want to change that. Sounds like its more of Ambient Hip Hop.

Anyway, I like that lead around 0:30, kinda sounds like a violin o3o (or a droning sitar o.e not sure...)
Transitions are smooth, but I'm sure you could fancy them up a bit more. Playing with the tempo, and gating would be some examples.

All in all this is a very beautiful track.

karlsazn responds:

I should have classified it as dance or something else, idk! its kinda a mix of breakbeat and trance.

i actually made this track about 2 years ago, figured id upload it for a friend to hear. I've become much better at DJ'ing since :)

thanks for your review

Press the A button when you here the kick.

*Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
Anyway enough joking around, its a bit light for a final boss fight.
But what the heck, this is "One of a Kind", I mean how often do you find DnB in a boss fight

I think something is missing.... Can't figure out what it is though...

At around 1:09 where the organ is, I think a evul (typo intended) synth is in order there (low arp)

Well enough of my talking, me like this. And just for a test, Imma throw this into my game for a test run. xD

I would like to hear more from you.

AvizuraNG responds:

Glad you liked it Icedragon! =D

Electric Orchestral? 16 listens, no votes?

XD Man this song has some potential for epic win.
I know its still a WIP, but I would like some more dynamics.
Like breaks in the strings, with the clapping as the only thing going (Only for about 1/4 bar though)

Inspiration just hits me from everywhere on this site, and you just added to it.
:3 I wanna hear when its finished!

death-is-forever responds:

Hey, thanks for the review. :)
I like yor idea with the dynamics, I was thinking the same after I listened to it over agian, I'll have to try it out and see.
I'll be sure to let you know when it's finished too.

Peace. :)

Interesting...

Can I hear one without the vocal (for a long time).

The bass is weak (it is really).

If I remember clearly, the bass is what drives a Hip Hop song.

As I said its interesting, I would like more without the vocal (for a long time) and a stronger bass.

:3 Keep it up!

Kwietboi responds:

Thanks Will Take In Consideration

Dump that kick.

It shucks, it really downed the song, at the intro it was promising, then some weird kick comes in....

I was hoping for some punch.

I would a pad sweep at the intro to this, and another synth to go with the saw.

Good effort, but it needs more work.

TastyTeo responds:

The kick starts at 0:20, i tried to make the intro good on FL, and what do you mean by punch? Thanks for your review!

Gib me your nexus!

jk, but seriously as the previous guy mentioned, I missed the bottom end..
The middle is a bit overcrowded in some parts, you could let the piano have some more presence up top, its its pretty airy up there, right now.

Its kinda repetitive on the main synth, maybe a few variations, up and down to spice it up a bit.

Also some changes in the drumming would be nice.

Beside all those things, really nice song you got there!

Jassummisko responds:

My goal was...no subbass, no bass, just a synth, drums, piano, pad and nothing else! But thanks anyways ^_^

And also a part of my goal was to make the listener relax and dance at the same time... which wasn't an easy thing to do!

And also...the point of Liquid DnB is repetetiveness, cause if you make a lot of changes the brain will try to recognize the changes and then you can't relax :)

I never played any of the old Megaman games...

:3 But, if this is how the music sounded then, I'm gonna hunt one down.
It really has that Megaman swing to it.
The mix is clean (As far as my cheap headphones can play)
._. I can't find any flaws....
So..
Really nice song. I gives you 5/5 10/10

KgZ responds:

Thank you kind sir =)

"I ended listening to this 5 times"

I really enjoyed this, (Thanking the heavens I didn't have to turn down the volume...)
At around 1:20, I would add some deep, dark strings, something to add to the suspense feeling and its buildup.
All in all its a good piece, >.> I took 1 off because of the huge silence at the end.

blackattackbitch responds:

Sorry about the silence at the end, I went directly from render to upload and didn't check to make sure that wasn't going to happen :(

I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration when I set to work on the final draft though, which should be even more epic than this!
